According to transport officials, faulty radio-Annan has made a deadly collision of medium-air helicopter in the Australian thematic park and the resort.

Four people were killed – including two British tourists – and several more were seriously injured when two planes hit each other in January 2023, near the Sea World on the gold coast.

The investigation into the Australian Transport and Security Bureau (ATSB) found that one of the pilots did not hear a vital radio call shortly before the accident, and that a number of changes in the maritime world meant that control over the risks had been blurry over time.

“Over time, these changes undermined control over the risks used to manage the movement department and created a conflict between the launch and the departure of the helicopters,” the statement reads.

The aircraft, which was preparing for the takeoff, also had a faulty antenna.

On the eve of the collision, a call from the helicopter that arrived or was not heard or heard the pilot on the ground, which at the time loaded the passengers.

However, as soon as the passengers were aboard, a member of the ground crew advised a helicopter pilot who was going out that the air space was clear. As long as the chopper took off, this information was no longer correct.

He is expected to be warned by a “taxi” of a radio -technical call if this situation has changed. However, a faulty antenna probably prevented taxi broadcast, the report said.

Among those who died were the 57th Diana Hughes and her 65-year-old husband Ron, who was from Nestan, Cheshire. They married in 2022 and were on vacation, visiting relatives after the COVID division.

A couple of “merry” couple from Nestan, Cheshire, was “an interesting life”,-said their family at the time.

A resident of Sydney Vanessa Tadros, a 36-year-old 40-year-old Sea World Jenkinson, who is originally from Birmingham, was also killed.
