Faithful antenna played a role in the fatal collapse of Australia

According to transport officials, faulty radio-Annan has made a deadly collision of medium-air helicopter in the Australian thematic park and the resort.

Four people were killed – including two British tourists – and several more were seriously injured when two planes hit each other in January 2023, near the Sea World on the gold coast.

The investigation into the Australian Transport and Security Bureau (ATSB) found that one of the pilots did not hear a vital radio call shortly before the accident, and that a number of changes in the maritime world meant that control over the risks had been blurry over time.

The accident broke out the golden coast, one of the largest tourist hot spots.

Two helicopters encountered about 20 seconds after one removed and the other landed.

Those who died, everyone traveled by the helicopter. The second plane managed to make an emergency landing and the passengers were injured.

The ATSB report showed that the month leading to the accident, Sea World tried to improve the offering on vacation flights by adding second helicopter and introducing large Eurocopter EC140 B4 helicopters.

“Over time, these changes undermined control over the risks used to manage the movement department and created a conflict between the launch and the departure of the helicopters,” the statement reads.

The aircraft, which was preparing for the takeoff, also had a faulty antenna.

On the eve of the collision, a call from the helicopter that arrived or was not heard or heard the pilot on the ground, which at the time loaded the passengers.

However, as soon as the passengers were aboard, a member of the ground crew advised a helicopter pilot who was going out that the air space was clear. As long as the chopper took off, this information was no longer correct.

Meanwhile, the pilot, who wanted to land after a five -minute colorful flight, saw a different helicopter on earth but did not consider it a threat, the report said.

He is expected to be warned by a “taxi” of a radio -technical call if this situation has changed. However, a faulty antenna probably prevented taxi broadcast, the report said.

“Without taking a taxi, an entrance helicopter pilot, which probably focused on his landing, had no launch to review the helicopter status as a risk of collision.”

Among those who died were the 57th Diana Hughes and her 65-year-old husband Ron, who was from Nestan, Cheshire. They married in 2022 and were on vacation, visiting relatives after the COVID division.

A couple of “merry” couple from Nestan, Cheshire, was “an interesting life”,-said their family at the time.

A resident of Sydney Vanessa Tadros, a 36-year-old 40-year-old Sea World Jenkinson, who is originally from Birmingham, was also killed.

Six more were seriously injured and three more were injured as a result of the accident.

Shortly after the crash, the returned passengers, a pilot as a “hero” for a safe landing on a helicopter.

In general, the Australian Transport Security Bureau made 28 results that emphasize “key lessons” for operators and pilots.

“The most fundamental lesson in this investigation is that amendments to aviation operations, even those that seem to increase security, can have unintentional consequences,” said ATSB Chief Commissioner Agus Mitchell.

“Therefore, it is important that changes in aviation operations are guided by implementing a certain process to ensure overall safety to adversely.”
