Turki Alralikh wants a “great performance” by Shakur Stevenson in his fight against William Zepeda on July 12 at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. Wants to continue to use Stevenson for other events.
The light champion of WBC, Stevenson (23-0, 11 kos), may not be worth use again after Zepeda (33-0, 27 kos) passed with him. Shakur has not fought against a pressure fighter like this since his loss due to the Robeisy Ramirez de Cuba tunic at the 2016 Olympic Games, and he got rid of this fight.
The pressure that the Olympic Olympic Olympic medalist twice put on two occasions is nothing compared to what Zepeda will do. If Shakur loses badly, as I hope, Turki could use it in his cards if he is willing to go back to 130 or 126, because he is not physically designed for the 135 LB division.
He lacks the power and courage to stay and fight his feet against Lightqight’s killers. There is a reason why Shakur’s promoters combined him against Josh Padley and Artem Harutyunyan in his last two fights.
It is imperative that Shakur looks good to win. Cannot spoil, move and keep all night as he did against Edwin de los Santos in 2023. He will be out of the stadium. You can only imagine that the critique will receive Shakur. Would be like a Pariah later, a total of outside.
“I want a great performance by Shakur because I will try to make more struggles for him,” said Turki Alshikh to Ring Magazine’s X On his high expectations for Shakur Stevenson for his defense of the July 12 title against William Zepeda.
Turki asks that the impossible would like a “great performance” by Stevenson, because he will do nothing but what we have seen in the past. He will find a track and will have glass hands as an excuse why he could not be in his pocket against Zepeda.
“Zepeda, I want to see him in the future with (Isaac)” Pitbull “(Cruz). Berlanga, will have another opportunity. Sheeraz, this is his third season of Riyad. He is seeing the potential now and let’s see him.”
Shakur Rematch demands
If Zepeda is victorious against Shakur, he will keep the light title of WBC. A title defense against Isaac Cruz would be an excellent idea. However, Shakur goes to Belyache for wanting a resale and will not stop until he is reached. He will push his promoter, Eddie Hearn, to obtain the immediate resuscitation with Zepeda, because he will be mentally devastated from the defeat.
You can only imagine the number of publications on Twitter Shakur will do daily, confuse water and Conceive some wackyHarebrain conspiracy to explain his defeat.
“I am looking forward to the four, but in order to dimension what I think will be bombs is Sheraz and Berlanga,” said Rick Reeno. “I just have the feeling that Berlanga will go out in the first round looking for a eliminated, and Sheeraz will embrace this. And we could see a fight against our feet from the first round.”
It would be a bad idea that Hamzah Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 kos) entered the trenches with Edgar Berlanga (23-1, 18 kos) soon in this fight. Berlanga is a huge punch and is lethal in the first rounds, which is where he has marked most of his eliminators during his career.
Sheeraz coach Andy Lee will elaborate a play plan that involves boxing, with the aim of bringing Berlanga to the subsequent rounds. If Hamzah can survive until the ninth round, he had the opportunity to get out of Edgar if they are going.
Hamzah’s early round risk
What is worrying is like Austin Williams hurt Sheeraz in the first round of his struggle last year in June. Austin is almost not the punch that is Berlanga, and he had Hamzah close to being stopped.
