In a recent development, Delhi Capitals (DC) shared a significant update on the availability of players abroad for the rest of the IPL 2025 season, which will resume on May 17. The franchise confirmed that Vice-Capità Faf du Pessis and South African Batter Tristan Stubbs have been rejected in the workforce.
Delhi’s capitals are in fifth place at the IPL 2025 point point, after having won six wins from 11 games. His latest equipment against the kings of Punjab (PBKs) was abandoned due to the tensions of India-Pakistan. The team will play their next game against Gujarat Titans on Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
FAF DU PLESSIS AND TRISTAN STUBBS ARE GET IN DELHI CAPITALS
In a statement published on Saturday, Delhi Capitals confirmed that FAF du Plessis and Tristan Stubbs have joined the team before the resumption of the tournament.

“Delhi Capitals, JSW and GMR co-owner, confirmed that the Vice-Capità Faf Du Plessis and his teammate Tristan Stubbs have joined the team before the resumption of the IPL 2025,” the franchise said in a statement.
FAF du Pessis and Tristan Stubbs had returned home after the IPL was suspended. Du Pessis will be available for the rest of the tournament. However, Stubbs will only be available until May 26, as it has been included in the South -Africa staff for the next final of the World Test Championship.
Mitchell Starc and Donovan Ferreira not available for the rest of IPL 2025
Delhi Capitals also said that the Australian fast diaper Mitchell Starc and South African All-Rounder Donovan Ferreira will not be available. The franchise expressed their understanding and support for the decisions of the two players, wishing them a continuous success in their respective commitments.
“The franchise has also confirmed that the Australian Pealer Mitchell Starc and South African All-Rounder Donovan Ferreira are not currently available. Delhi Capitals fully respects his decision and expands his support and best wishes for his continued success,” the launch added further.
Starc has been selected for the Australian squad for the final of the World Test Championship. Delhi has signed Bangladesh Mustafizur Rahman’s fast diaper as a replacement for Jake Fraser-Mcgurk, which will not return to India for personal reasons.

Mustafizur represented Delhi Capitals in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. He took eight doctors in eight games in 2022 with a 7.62 economy rate, while he appeared in only two games and took a Wicket in 2023. In general, Mustafizur has played 57 games and took 61 doctors at a rate of economy of 8.14.
