Matthew announced the death of his wife following “complications of birth” in an Instagram post on April 1.
“With the heaviest hearts I share the devastating news about the unexpected pass of my beautiful wife,” he wrote, in part. “Words cannot convey the depth of the loss I feel. Hailey was more than I could have ever dreamed of in a wife and partner.”
The same day Matthew confirmed that Hailey had arrived meet their son short before her sudden death.
