Mohammad Haris is holding headlines ahead of the Asia Cup 2025 with his daring statement to Babar Azam. The young Pakistani-Bater Batterist was found in the hot water after lowering the legacy of his former Captain Babar Azam in a viral interview.
Haris, who recently helped Pakistan to win a 2-1 T20i series victory over the western Indies in the Caribbean, wondered about the Battle of Azam in the shortest format.

Mohammad Haris should be struck with a stick: Ali based
Haris observations did not work well with the old cricket -based cricketter. He said it was wrong that a young player questioned the focus of the old captain in the shortest format. Basit also felt that Haris had to be “struck with a stick” for his observations to Babar.

Kamran Akmal Slams Mohammad Haris, asks for better training of PCBs for PCB
In the meantime, Kamran Akmal said that Pakistan Cricket Board should train players on how to manage questions and avoid controversy. Akmal also said that Haris is no longer a child and he should focus on learning from senior stars like Babar to improve his own game instead of making these comments.
Kamran Akmal said in the same program: “ It is the responsibility of Pakistan Cricket Board to train players when answering these questions.However, he (Haris) is not a child anymore and he understands everything.He should have done not to be put in a position to comment on Babar and, on the other hand, he must learn from him when his own smoothies can be improved and delivering the game for Pakistan. ”
