Forget Anakin Skywalker … For many Star Wars fans, George Lucas is the real chosen one. Because Disney continues to run Star Wars to the ground, fans have convinced themselves that the manufacturer may be the only one who can save this franchise from its depressing decline. But here’s a bitter truth more than any space station: Lucas was already running the franchise to the ground, and he would treat Star Wars just as bad as Disney if he were still in charge.
The first real evidence that George Lucas had fallen away was arguably the release of the special editions. At first, Star Wars fans were delighted to see the original trilogy in theaters again, but the decline in quality was obvious … Garish CGI replaced ingenious practical effects, and some cool moments like Han solo The killing of Greedo was ruined forever by means of awkwardness. “Forever” is the keyword here because only the special editions are now being sold or streamed, keeping us from the most iconic versions of these films because Lucas decided to pave for his creative legacy for a chance to make a few extra bucks.

The film had highlights as the big fight with MaulBut the old franchise magic with the special effects of farting and rabbit was largely a big disappointment with a rare literate space that steps in dirt. The prequels have found a younger audience since then, but for older fans Star Wars, these chaotic incomprehensible films were evidence that the franchise is declining and even bright spots such as Cartoon Clone Wars built on Lucas’ failure to tell a good story in the first place.
Now, Disney The franchise was purchased by George Lucas in 2012, and the failure of the sequence trilogy and multiple TV spinoffs has made many fans think Star Wars would not be declining if it has never been sold. However, we have established that Lucas was busy squaring the franchise that made it rich for 15 full years (the first special issue came out in 1997) before being sold to Disney. And at this point, we can hope that Star Wars will come back as Ghost for Force once Disney has finished killing him.
