Breeding bats star Erin Bates would finally go home after go to septic shock Following his birth and Chad PaineSeventh baby.
“After nearly three weeks in hospital, I have never been so grateful to finally go home to our babies,” posted her husband through Instagram on Saturday, September 13, along with pictures of the new mother leaving the hospital with her new baby. “We do not have all the answers yet, and I still have no function in my right leg, but we choose to count every blessing – especially the gift of being together again. Your prayers have carried us through and mean the world for our family. ❤️”
Erin, one of Kelly Jo and Gil’19 children, and Paine welcomed their son Henry on August 25.

Days later, Paine shared a positive update on the baby’s health, but revealed Erin remained in hospital. “We wanted to thank all of you for all the prayers and support you have put on our behalf. It’s been a week since our miracle, Henry came into the world. He is doing well in the Nicu and he is our happiness bundle,” he wrote in Instagram Post.
Two black-and-white photos of Erin in a hospital bed matched Paine’s message. “We had asked for prayer for improvement for Erin because of complications. Her labor was longer and more intense than previous births. She has been fighting through it and has been such a light and sweet evidence of grace for nurses, staff, and doctors alike. We are all moved by her kindness and gratitude in the midst of the pain,”
Paine revealed that his wife “developed UTI infection and the serious kidneys,” which cause septic shock. “At the moment she is still in the ICU as doctors continue to treat, diagnose and search for answers. We would hide your prayers for this beautiful woman who is so much light in a dark world. We hold on to God’s promises,” he concluded.
As fans and family members sent thoughts and prayers to the couple, Paine Has provided more insight into Erin’s state on September 4. “I have as many mixed emotions as I share this,” he wrote through Instagram. “Last night, Erin suffered a long and serious stroke. Up to this point, Erins’ infection was recovering, but we found ourselves back in a place of heartbreak, uncertainty, and tears. She’s in the ICU, and the doctors run scans and tests to determine the case.
Paine added that seeing Erin “battle” is “one of the hardest things” for him to do. “I love her deeper than words can express, and I can’t even imagine life without my best friend,” he wrote. “The hours have been long and heavy, and I know that many hearts are painful to see it like this, along with mine. We hold faith that healing is coming, even in the middle of the unknown. Your prayers are felt and we are forever grateful.”
Erin and her husband married in 2013. Along with Henry, the couple Carson (born in 2015), Brooklyn (born 2016), Everly (born in 2018), Holland (born 2019), Finley (born in 2022) and William (born in 2023).
The former reality -star suffered Multiple misconceptions on her path to becoming a parent. “Going through miscarriage is one of the hardest things,” he told People In 2015. “You build all these expectations, and you prepare, and you have the date in your mind, and it’s heartbreaking when that ends. It’s like your world has been crushed.”
At the time, Erin noted that he and Paine had brought hardship and Paine closer together. “When you go through something difficult, it makes you even stronger and makes you look for each other for comfort,” he said. “It made us look to the other people who had gone through difficult situations and hopefully encouraged them through it too.”
Erin’s fans met her family on the UPTV series Breeding batsbroadcast from 2015 to 2021.
