California parole hearings board deny the release of Erik During a hearing on Thursday, August 21, noting various prison interventions during his 35 years of imprisonment.
Talia, Erik’s adopted girl through his marriage in 1999 to lady Tammresponded to the news in several Instagram stories. In one, he wrote, “How is my father a threat to society! A 3 year denial ??? Hell is about to break free !!!”
In a subsequent Instagram story, Talia called out celebrities he said they had previously advocated for the release of Erik, 54, and his brother, Lylle57, but not yet pressed on Erik’s denial.
“Where are the celebrities who were ‘advocating’ for them ???? It has been too quiet,” wrote Talia.
According to Talia, an actor Cooper Kochwho played Erik in True-Crime Netflix’s drama Monsters: The story of Lyle and Erik Menendezhave been among the few celebrities to remain in connection with the family in the middle of Erik and Lyle parole hearings. (Lyle will be Friday, August 22.)
“The only one I can say who has been checking in on my family is Cooper and we fully worship him,” he wrote. “For those who went to prison with no background checks to film their show but stay quiet now.”
“You despise (sic) me beyond measuring just saying that your opinion is down and keeping it push,” Talia added.
Koch, 29, has been vocal for his support for the Menendez brothers, who were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in 1996 for the 1989 murders of their parents, José and Kitty Menendez. In the trial, the self-defense pair claimed which claimed to have been abused by their father as children.

After the brothers were re -appointed to 50 years live in prison in May, thus making them eligible for parole, Koch said, “I am so grateful that that has happened.”
“And so was Erik, I spoke to him yesterday and it’s so exciting,” added to Diversity at the time.
The actor nominated by Emmy said Erik intends to advocate for other prisoners seeking parole if he was released from prison.
“He’s going to be an advocate for other people with a lethor, which is life without parole,” said Koch. “His life is going to surround making a change in the prison system, and I think that’s so beautiful.”
A Parole Board, however, denied the release of Erik from prison on Thursday. Chief Commissioner of Parole Robert Barton He said Erik had “not been an exemplary prisoner,” noting various prison cuts including inappropriate behavior with visitors, drug smuggling and misuse of state computers, Newsnation reported.
