Eric Menendez was diagnosed with a “serious medical condition”, – said his lawyer in several US news.
This news comes a few weeks before he and his brother Lale will appear at the parole hearing, having spent decades in prison for his parents’ killings.
The lawyer did not submit more information about the medical condition. BBC asked to comment.
Menendees was taken from prison to San Diego, in which he spent years to an external medical facility on Friday.
The State California’s State Department told the CBS 8 to the California’s rehabilitation and rehabilitation that MEENDEZ was in “fair condition”, but it could not provide more information.
The 35 -year -old brothers were outraged in May to 50 years in prison for killing Kitty and Jose Menendez in 1989.
Previously, they served life without parole.
But earlier this year, Judge Los -Angeles identified Eric, 54, and 57 -year -old Lyle, did not present “unreasonable risk” when they were released. The judge added that the brothers “did enough” while in prison to deserve a change of sentence.
The new verdict of the couple made them right to parole from their young age when their crimes were committed.
Brothers’ lawyer Mark Heroras called for the release of Eric Menendez in an interview with TMZ, citing his client’s health.
“I just think he should be predquired, I think it is a proper term, and it can be a medical hearing before he can work with a parole’s lawyer and become ready and be ready and do so,” Mr. Herra said. “I think this is the only fair and just business.”
The parole of the brothers is scheduled for the parole on August 21.
The couple passed two tests before condemning in the 1990s. They claimed that the killings were in self -defense. The prosecutors claimed that the brothers were spoiled by young people who killed their parents for financial benefits.
