A researcher at the Australian University has discovered a new “super -” type of insect stick in a remote tropical forest in Quinsand, Australia.
Professor Angus Emmot identified a new species of Acrophylla Alta on the shed mountain region wet tropics in the northeast of the country.
The insects are approximately 40 cm. This sample weighs 44 g, “slightly less than the golf ball,” the University of James Cook said.
