The National Cricket team of England has suffered a massive blow ahead of the series of tests against the India National Cricket team. Star Fast Bowler Olle Stone has been ruled out of the entire five -game series due to a right knee injury.
Olly Stone has been ruled out for cricketing actions for 14 weeks. He was injured during the Nottinghamshire preseason tour of Abu Dhabi last month, where he was discomfort in his knee. After that, he underwent explorations, which revealed that he had to undergo surgery.

The ECB published the official declaration on Olle Stone, confirming that it has been ruled out outside the Indian series. The Reading Declaration:
“England and Nottinghamshire Bowler Fast Olly Stone has been ruled out of the entire cricket for 14 weeks after explorations and subsequent surgery this week, which confirmed a right knee injury. Stone experienced a growing discomfort during Nottinghamshire’s preseason tour in Abu Dhabi last month.
“Other scans this week revealed the need for surgery. A period of rehabilitation will now begin, working closely with medical teams at both the ECB and Nottinghamshire as a result, Stone will lose the start of English summer, but he is directing a return to physical form in August 2025.”
Olly Stone has played 10 games for England in tests
Olly Stone has been decent for the team in the limited number of tests he has played.
The Fast Bowler has played 10 games in the longest format of the game and has chosen 17 doctors.
It was last seen in action during the series against Sri Lanka in September last year.
Testing series between England and India to start in June
The series of tests between England and India will begin on June 20 in The Headingley of Leeds. The second game takes place from July 2 at Edgbaston in Birmingham, followed by the third game to be played in Lord’s in London from July 10.
The fourth and fifth games of the test series will take place since July 23 and 31 in Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester and Kia Oval, respectively. The five -game series between the teams will also mark the new edition of the ICC World Test Championship.
The last time two teams faced each other in the test series was during the five-game series in India in 2024. He saw that Rohit Sharma’s side surpassed the opposition for the margin of 4-1 and win all matches with his dominion.
