England Speedster, Gus Atkinson, is likely to be ruled out of the first test game against India, from June 20 in Leeds. Atkinson is struggling with a string injury, which led him to leave the white ball series against the western Indies.
Atkinson was injured during the third entrances to England’s unique test against Zimbabwe last month and launched only three points in the second entry in Zimbabwe.

The English Pealer hopes to be suitable for the Indian Testing series, but is struggling to regain physical form, and now, according to reports, the return of Atkinson could be delayed.
Atkinson has been a key member of the Bowling Department of England in recent times, since he has reduced 55 doctors in only 12 test games with an average of 22.3, which includes three fifths in his short test career. These are the most doctors in any bowling of England during this period.
The team in England wants its Pealer to fully adapt before the five -tested series. SAM COOK, Matthew Potts and Josh Tongue will be ATKINSON’s potential replacement in the India Testing series.
Apart from Atkinson, Mark Wood, Olle Stone and Jofra Archer are currently fighting injuries. Archer was appointed in the white ball series against the western Indies, but was removed just before the series due to a thumb injury, and Luke Wood replaced him in the squad.
Mark Wood is currently working with the ECB’s medical team for recovery. The Speedster will miss English summer and goals to return to the end of July, which means that Wood will almost miss the whole series of tests against India.
England has struggled to establish a strong rate attack on the test cricket after the retirement of James Anderson and Stuart Broad, who served the England cricket for a long time in the red ball format.
India A will play the second unofficial test game against England Lions on June 6. Veteran Chris Wokes is likely to return next to Lions to give him a game of practice ahead of the great series of tests against India.
Previously, the English test pattern, Ben Stokes, was also considered to be included in the teams of England Lions, but it is now unlikely that Stokes will join the squad, as England will announce the team against India the following week.
India and England, both teams, will start the new cycle of the World Championship Championship 2025-27 with the five-test series between them.
