Emery jumps “fantastic” Tielemans after the town keeps the first five lives alive with the victory over Fulham

Unai Emery was full of praise for “fantastic” Youri Tielemans after the midfielder scored the only goal in the game Aston Villa beat Fulham to increase his hopes of a first five place end in the premier League.

The Belgian midfielder, who started all the league teams for Emery this season, headed for the corner of John McGinn 12 minutes for what turned out to be the winner at Villa Park on Saturday.

Villa, who is now unbeaten at home, lost a series of possibilities in the second half, but remained to achieve a victory that moves them at the points with Chelsea and Nottingham Forest, and maintains his ambition for spending seasons in the Firmly Live Champions League.

In the meantime, the defeat of Fulham denta his thrust to a European site in the next term. Marco Silva’s men are currently in the eighth, nine points in the town.

Tielemans has been a key part of Emery’s machine room this season, and the town’s head was full of praise at the midfielder.

“She’s really doing a great job. She’s very, very professional,” Emery said.

“The mentality he has, I really appreciate the highest level we can achieve”

Evaluating the possibility of successive stations in the European elite competition, Emery, who guided Villa to a place in the last eight this season, reduced the club’s possibilities.

“We are not favorite and they are not yet,” Emery said.

“Of course, we win today, we are close to being in Europe. Our dream is to try to get Champions League and after victory today we can have possibilities.

“It was very, very important to win and at home feeling -being confident, feeling strong.”

Villa is in action when traveling to Bournemouth next Saturday, as the race for the first five aspects went to the wire.
