Ellen Pompeo is “deep against” one story line in current season Gray anatomy.
“I am not always having their say in the choices the character makes,” Pompeo, 55, told Diversity In an interview announced on Tuesday, April 29. “Writers will serve a conspiracy initially before they could stop thinking, ‘would the Meredith Gray built (Ellen) – would she make that choice?'”
Pompeo admitted that she was not happy with the “choice that Meredith was making” in terms of Dr. Evynn Moore (guest star WorkedDid his first appearance on the show last month) lying for her wife’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis so he would still be eligible for a liver transplant.
“My problem with that story line was the Meredith Gray I’ve created that it would have been like ever, ‘I’m pissed that you lie, (but) let’s find out how to match the system together to get this liver f *** ing.
“Meredith has overturned the system for 20 years to do the right thing,” Pompeo continued. “She has done free surgeries, whatever it takes, to improve and help people.”
The actress – who has played the Titular Meredith Gray since 2005 – Not quiet about his feedback to the senior companies of the show, either.
They “acknowledge that all my unlucky -to -mind is all the creative on the show all out of place to care deeply about the show,” said Pompeo, referring to the Creator Shonda Rimesin part.
“I see my job trying to keep Shonda Rhimes legacy as good and firm as we can and the moment you stop taking care or calling in or getting lazy, we don’t really do what we’ve been paid to do,” he added.
Pompeo has been contracted to appear Gray anatomy For a few episodes of season 22. She is an active producer on the long -lasting series and her voiceover is included in each chapter. However, if Pompeo decides to step back from the show, she does not see it finish as a result of her theoretical departure.
“It’s not as if I’m leaving the show completely, they’re going to stop the show,” he said. “The show is still extremely successful.”
Pompeo’s statement comes just over a month after she admitted to thinking that Gray anatomy expires following Sandra O.Departure in 2014.
“It was so much of a loss,” said Pompeo during a chapter in March from the “Call Daddy” podcast. “It’s so talented and I didn’t really think the show could go on without it and I was right with that. It literally felt like half the show just left.”
