Dushku has been married to Peter Palandjian Since 2018, and they have shared the children of Philip, 5, and Bodie, 3. Palandjian, 61, and the couple’s children were on hand for the Dushku graduation ceremony.
“And to my family, friends – old and new – my colleagues/classmates, teachers, and community, I thank: for rejoicing me, encouraging me on a daily basis, and giving me the grace, strength and space to step fully to these last years of clinical training,” he wrote. “Today, I stand on the ground and are ready to support others on their journeys of becoming self-discovery, healing and transformation. The connectivity I feel in capturing a safe, compassionate place for those seeking the undertaking is such a life breath now.”

Dushku took a step back from acting in 2017, Turn to a new career in mental health counseling. In a 2024 profile for Boston Magazine, Dushku revealed that she was certified in psychedelic aid therapy.
“I had the means to move instructions and choose a course in my life that focused on improving myself so I could help improve others,” Dushku told the outlet. “I would be disappointed if I no longer shared the transformation and peace and passion I have. This is so obvious my real call, my real purpose.”
According to Dushku, she had previously used psychedelic to help improve after trauma in the past.
“I found myself feeling so ill,” he remembered. “So painfully vulnerable, raw, open – intimidated and suffering from what was diagnosed as PTSD. I finally surrendered and began to feel released and a sense of peace and safety and calming through it.”
