The last time Subriel Matias fought in his Puerto Rico Natal, he had a disappointing performance as he suffered the second loss of his career. Now, Matias, 32, will be redeemed again, as he plans to win the Super Lightweight titles deletion of the IBF in front of his multitude of the hometown.

After stopping Petros, they went to the ninth round in January 2022, the 140 -pound contestant Subriel Matias developed the reputation of being the Bogeyman of the Division. Matias dominated a relentless style of pressure in which he decomposed his opponents and had a shutdown in all his victories.

In February 2023, Subriel Matias detained Jeremias Ponce in the fifth round and won the Global Super Lightweight Ibf world title. A year later, Matias would return to Puerto Rico for the second defense of his world title. Unfortunately for Matias, he lost to Liam Paro by unanimous decision.

Five months later, Subriel Matias re -published a second victory of TKO on Roberto Ramirez. Now the hard hit Matias is basically a step away from winning the opportunity to become two times world champions.

The 30 -year -old Mexican boxer, Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela, is the role of the spoiler. On the night of March 1, a victory for the Valenzuela of Underdog would give rise to ruin the Matias’ meeting and take on the Challenger place of the World IBF title.

In May 2022, Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela faced the 140 pounds of 140 pounds. In the initial round of the combat, SouthPaw’s love connected with a right hook that floated Valenzuela.

Valenzuela hit again in the second round when a left check landed that sent love to the canvas. The struggle was very competitive, but at the conclusion of the 12-round contest, Montana Love won a unanimous decision victory, as the three judges marked the 114-112 combat in favor of love.

After losing in front of Montana Love, Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela would continue to prepare a rate of five -fights victories. It is now planned to participate in a definitive career party that has implications of the world title.

Subriel Matias (21-2, 21 kos) is a pressure fighter who is considered unidimensional, but the only thing he does, he executes it very well. If Matias is able to dictate the rhythm of the fight using the Guard Alta, pushing forward and landing his shots, he could become a painful night for Valenzuela.

In order for Valenzuela to take away, he must steal Liam Paro’s game book. Valenzuela has to establish his dagger, control the range, the box from the outside, use the clinch if Matias reaches too much inside and the rear foot box. Valenzuela will have to be patient, disciplined and responsible defensively during the 12 rounds.

On Saturday night, March 1, a fundamental battle will be held in Puerto Rico between the Favorite Subriel of the city Natal Matias and Gabriel Gollaz Valenzuela. The loser of this combat will have to step back and rebuild, while the winner will challenge the World Champion of Super Lightweight, Richardson Hitchins.
