‘Elf’ Cast: Where Are They Now? Will Ferrell, More

Will Ferrell he drew in viewers as the iconic Buddy the Elf in 2003 elves, and fans still can’t get enough of the silly holiday movie more than two decades later.

In the film Christmas, Buddy goes to New York City in the hope of finding his biological father, Walter Hobbs (James Caan), after learning that he is a human and not an elf as he had always thought.

Over the years, viewers have crave more from Buddyhis girlfriend Jovie (Zooey Deschanel) and the rest of the sweet characters.

Ferrell and Deschanel virtually reunited in 2021 to recreate one of their iconic scenes – when they sing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” in Gimbel’s locker room – to raise money for Georgia Democrats before the state senate elections.

In October 2021, Ferrell revealed that fans will not get an Elves sequel anytime soonrevealing that he turned down a big payday on a second film because of the story. However, a movie reunion has not happened.
