EGO NWDIM returned to Saturday night live“Weekend Update”-even after its Viral piece is now landed in hot water with the network.
“You know her, you love her (and) you fined the FCC, showing some love for Miss Eggy,” quoted Costar Colin Jost during the Saturday segment, May 17.
Then Nwodim, 37, walked on stage, a microphone in hand, to provide a fictional stand-up set for aircraft food. Previously she showed her alter ego during the April 5 episode, where fans interrupt his comments.
“Cory Booker Out here with his Filibuster – Shooting, I’ve had my filler of stoppers’ because these guys don’t? ”NwodiM said at the time, holding his mic out towards the audience.
In response, they yelled out, “S ***.”
“You’ll have to pay for that,” Noddim answered, joking for a potential fine. “Lorne (Michaels, The showrunner) is going to be mad at y’all. “
The word curse was only heard on the live broadcast, quickly censored by NBC and Peacock Simulcasts. The FCC (Federal Communications Commission) has a list of seven words that cannot be told on television: S ***, piss, f ***, c ***, c *** sucker, motherf *** er at ***.
“Because obscenity is not protected by the first improvement, it is banned on cable, satellite and television and radio broadcast,” read the FCC guidelines. “However, the same rules for indecency and contamination do not apply to cable, satellite TV and satellite radio because they are subscription services.”
It is not specifically known whether nwodim and Swallow The team actually received a fine, or how much it was, to the hair of the fans.
On Saturday, NwodiM and Jost, 42, also joked for the audience’s moment.
“If we hit a turbulence, Colin, just take Benadryl and what?” She asked.
Jost said, in response, “Close your gay and ** up.”
Nwodim pretended to look in shock and add, “No, Colin, no!”

Saturday’s episode was the end of the 50th term, hosted by Jost’s wife, Scarlett Johansson. The Marvel Star, 40, appeared even earlier in the “weekend update” segment, Help jost to revenge on Michael Who Want to make him say a raw joke about her body earlier this year.
