Edgar Berlanga vs. Hamzah Sheeraz: King of New York defends the throne at WBC Super Middleweight eliminator

The self-titled “King of New York”, Edgar Berlanga will defend his throne tonight against Hamzah Sheeraz in a 168 battle in Queens. Berlanga (23-1, 18 kos) insists that he will not let the foreign invader, Sheeraz (21-0-1, 17 kos), he will defeat him on the lawn of a house in front of his fans at the Louis Armstrong stadium.

Surprisingly, this is a WBC Title Delete Super Middleweight instead of a regular struggle. Berlanga should fight one of these boys:

– Osley Iglesias
– Christian Milli
– Diego Pacheco

These three deserve more to fight in a title deleteraz. However, Berlanga’s possibilities to overcome any of these three would be scarce. They are all better fighters than it is, and they would probably surpass Edgar more decisively than Canelo Alvarez.

The $ 168 Free Division debut of Sheeraz

Sheeraz is a newcomer to the £ 168 division and not one of the main contestants in the weight class. He failed in this heading opportunity fighting a controversial draw at 12 rounds against WBC champion Carlos Adames last February in Riyadh. This struggle showed that Hamzah does not have the talent to be world champion at the age of 160.

“Berlanga has not won any world championship and has done nothing, and now it is rich after this fight against Canelo,” Tim Bradley told his canal. “His confidence is always tall. It is the first person I have ever seen that he lost a fight and had a parade later. It’s strange to me. This (loss) motivated him. He is talking about invincible things and older. It is better to do it.

The opportunities of the unjust title of boxing

Berlanga celebrated the $ 10 million he obtained for Canelo’s struggle; Therefore, Puerto Rico’s parade to reveal -in his new wealth. He had this opportunity to fight for the title without overcoming a high -level contestant. This was the disappointing part, and it should never have happened if the boxing was executed as the other sports are.
