Edgar Berlanga says he plans to talk to Turki Alralikh and “work something” to fight Canelo Alvarez in 2026 if he is victorious against Hamzah Sheeraz on Saturday, July 12.
Canelo Recualization: Pipe Dream?
Berlanga (23-1, 18 kos) believes that he can convince Turki to make the revenge with Alvarez. Unfortunately for Edgar, it sounds like a pipe dream. Berlanga is in size to fight a light heavy weight or a cruise weight. So Morrell and Benavidez would be good options for him. It is doubtful that the manager of Edgar agreed with these fights, but any of these guys would be excellent for Turki to offer him. If you turn it into a loan supply, Berlanga could accept.
