During the episode Wednesday, July 16, from the popular Apple TV+series, Lizzy (Aubri Ibrag))) have received advice from character Played by Mulvaney, 28.
“Don’t do it. Don’t take this heavenly man off the market,” said Mulvaney with reference to Lizzy’s fiancé, Hector (Jacob Ifan). “How is it fair on the rest of us if you get this face? If this is the face you see from the morning of your whole life?”
Lizzy’s upcoming nuptials to Hector seemed too good to be true in the midst of her growing feelings about Theo (Guy remmmers). The situation is even more complex with tean being married to Nan (Kristine Froseth), which is still in love with a guy (Matthew Broome).
According to the Summary of the Official Chapter, the Buccaneers “Prepare for Lizzy’s wedding day” and “Nan returns to face the music as things become more complicated.” The historical play, which first performed in 2023, is based on an unfinished novel of the same name by Edith Wharton. The Buccaneers follow rich American women and their experiences in the high society of London as they deal with conflicts of culture, different approaches to tradition, friendship and love.
Ibrag, 23, recently teased what fans can expect after Lizzy slept with Theo Before her marriage to Hector.
“When I got the scripts and stuff, I was like, ‘This type probably made sense,’ he told today earlier this month. “I don’t think it’s anything that any of us expected, because we don’t really interact in the first season. Like, at all. Just short when I say ‘Hello’ in the background or something. But it was a bit of a surprise.”
In the meantime, Remmers, 30 could see why the story pulled the characters together.
“They are both characters that were an unfair kind of step in the first season, and were picked up by love (by those who trusted).” He explained. “So when we started reading the chapters, it actually made sense that these two people would find each other.”
The actor went on to explain that he understood the “suspicious decisions” Theo made so far in season 2.
“I think all these characters who make these suspicious decisions come from a place of love and get hurt,” he added. “I can kind of seeing the perspective of every character and why they do those things. Theo has to deal with many discoveries that hurt and heartbreak. And it spins out of control at a point and does some things that are more than a little out of character and (that) it regrets.”
In addition to Ibrag, Ifan, Remmers, Froseth and Broome, the show is also stars Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Imogen Waterhouse, Mia Troopleton and Christina Hendricks. Josh Dylan, Barney Fishwick, Amelia Bullmore and Fenella Woolgar Draw the rest of the cast.
