Dancing with the stars wood Val ChmerkovskiyAn exciting flight back home involved unexpected health scare.
“Passing a kidney stone on my flying home was not part of my plans but here we are,” Chmerkovskiy, 39, wrote through Instagram Story on Sunday, April 27.
Chmerkovskiy expand on the experience alongside a picture of kidney stone.
“I landed in Spain, I had a little side/back pain. Learned, worked out, etc.… I thought it was just my usual back pain. He went to bed, couldn’t sleep, pain at night,” he remembered. “Waking up now it’s lively, and joking. Start my day, try to walk it away, it doesn’t go away. I can’t tell if I’m gotta 💩, or it’s something else, but my side and back now kill me.”
In dealing with the pain, Chmerkovskiy decided to “atypical” to go to the hospital in Marbella “It was an interesting pain nonetheless. I didn’t know what to do,” he said. “Taken some tests. Found blood in my mea. I told me I had a urinary infection, most likely to be caused by kidney stone. Antibiotics, some painkiller drugs. Oooof I can breathe again.”
Chmerkovskiy’s relief eventually was a short -lived. “The next day, kill him. Back to Normal, Be myself. Having finished an amazing event. Now flying home and prosperity, feeling a little sacred somewhere,” he continued. “Go to the bathroom and see this little guy. I never eat sweets, or fried/greasy foods in ultra again.”
Elsewhere in his Instagram story posts, Chmerkovskiy noted how he lost his “world,” lady Jenna Johnson and their 2 year old son, Rome.
Chmerkovskiy and Johnson, 31, meet while working together on Dancing with the stars And start dating in 2015. They tied the knot four years later. In January 2023, the couple welcomed their son, Rome. Johnson later opened For a miscarriage she was suffering Before conceiving with Rome.
“It’s crazy how you can experience so much joy and then so much destruction and sadness,” shared Johnson on the “Momforce” podcast in June 2023. “I finished a misconception.
He continued: “And I’m finishing a miscarriage in our room and it was. It was just terrible. There’s no other way to go around. You’re so helpless. There’s nothing you can do in that moment.”
Johnson expressed thanks for the support he received. “It became so obvious to me, I am not alone in this, and this is something that needs to be talked about because of all the feelings I had felt, all that trauma, all that darkness,” he continued. “He put me in deep depression for about eight months. He really did. I only need to talk about it.”
Over the years, competitors and professionals Dancing With The Stars have dealt with their fair share of health terrorisms while taking part on the show. In March 2022, Daniella Karagach was injured during her time on the Dancing With The Stars Live 2022 tour.
Chmerkovskiy recently reflected the personal loss as well.
“Don’t ask how I reached this video a few years ago, going through my random posts. But I can’t help but reflect, this was a last -minute improvised performance with (my brother) Maks (Chmerkovskiy)Because my wife (whom I was supposed to perform) had just experienced a misconception, ”he wrote through Instagram Story in March alongside pictures of him and Maks, 45, on the dance floor.” Now a few years are drawn and we have a beautiful boy, but here’s a moment ‘the moment’ I have to have now grown around.
Val addressed his decision to finish his job. “My wife was literally in the upstairs room in complete and physically emotional pain, and I had never felt such a loss myself personally. I was unimaginable, I was empty, and all I could think of was Jenna,” he remembered. “But I wore a smile and I wore my big boy pants and I did what I had done my whole life, make sure I didn’t disappoint anyone. Show and performed. People paid money, people were making plans, people counted on me.”
Val concluded: “I have no regrets and I was up there with my wife a little before and very soon after, and no one knew (I told Maks Jen hurt her neck and he needed to save me the day), and so no one asked me.
