Dustin Lynch has become ‘hunting friends’ with Blake Shelton

Dustin LynchA close bond with a country singer Blake Shelton extends far beyond any platform.

“Blake and I hit him away last year on a journey,” told Lynch, 39, only Weekly US at NBC’s OPRY 100: live celebration On Wednesday, March 19.

Last summer, Shelton, 48, hit the way for the back to Honky Tonk’s journey. He invited Lynch to be an opening act alongside special guests.

Traveling across the country has proven to be a bonding moment for the pair, Lynch is also looking forward to participating in the OPRY hunt every year with his fellow -gowboi.

“It’s a 60 -year -old tradition,” he explained to Us. “A group of boys come together once a year and we’ve kept that tradition alive. It’s about a fellowship. Going to sit around the fire and pass the guitar and talk about our years, what’s coming up, and having a fellow like that and a fraternity like that is quite cool.”

Lynch’s sense of fraternity does not extend only to his friendship with Shelton.

“I have many friends in the genre who have started as single men and now have a bunch of children,” he said. “I’ve missed that boat so far, but we might work on it one day. But it’s amazing. I think country singing is about where we come and what’s life and I’m here at the OPRY tonight because my family loves rural music.”

While Lynch admitted his famous squeeze at the moment Silencewill never forget to be set up in the Ole Opry Grand in 2018 by Reba Mcentire.

“She was my first famous summary way back in the day,” joking Lynch. “I believe professionally, Reba is one of my favorite artists ever to do in the entertainment industry. It’s really a kind of overcome everything you can.”

While Lynch pictures of the day when he has settled down with a partner forever, he is grateful to have a packed schedule and solid friends who make life worthwhile.

“I’ve been enjoying just the pursuit of the dream and the freedom,” he said. “I’m always going to do something, but there’s a season for some to settle down I’m sure.”
