Dubai Capitals, the Champions of the International League T20 (ILT20), are ready to show their fearful brand of Cricket T20 in the Caribbean. After winning its title ILT20 of single, the Dubai Capitals have confirmed their participation in the Global Super League of Guyana 2025 (GSL 2025).
The High-Octane Super Lage 2025 (GSL 2025) Super Lage 2025 will be held at the Guyana National Stadium from July 10 to 18, where 11 parties are expected to enthusiastate South America. The GSL aims to relive the forgotten magic of the Champions League T20 (CLT20).
Apart from Capital Dubai, the Rangpur Riders, who won the GSL inaugural title last December, again defend their crown.

The Guyana Global Super League is sponsored by Exxonmobil and endorsed by President Guyanès, Mohammad Irfan Ali. With oil wealth that transforms the future of the island nation, Exxonmobil wants to make sports headlines, using the GSL as a vehicle to show its increase in the global stage.
In the meantime, Sir Clive Lloyd, the President of the Guyana Global Super League, shared his excitement over the entry of the Dubai capitals to this year’s tournament. The capitals are owned by GMR Sports, a GMR group that has teams throughout India, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and the United Kingdom.
As the capitals have quickly become a known name in the Global Cricket, their participation in the GSL 2025 adds more star and international flavor power to the next Guyana Tournament.
Clive Lloyd said that Espncricinfo said: “We hope to welcome the capitals of Dubai in Guyana for this year’s GSL. Its reputation as Champions Ilt20 talks about volumes and its inclusion will undoubtedly improve the quality and show of the cricket offered.”

On the other hand, the CEO of GMR Sports, Satyam Trivedi, stated: “We are happy to see Dubai Capitals competing in another prestigious international stage. The Global Super League of Guyana represents a fantastic opportunity to show the top-notch cricket and foster global connections and we are extremely proud to be part.”
Previously, Rangpur’s riders confirmed their return to Guyana Global Super League and are ready to defend the crown they claimed last year. In the 2024 edition held at the Guyana Providence Stadium, the BPL franchises won a victory over Cricket Victoria in the final.
Lloyd had stated: “We are happy to welcome the GSL champions of 2024 to this year’s tournament. The rangpur Riders added huge emotions, skill and professionalism to last year’s event and were really worthy winners. We encouraged their return to Guyana and hope that they testify to their continued excellence on the pitch.”
