Dreams from the Raymond Matallada Championship: The victory over Zaur Abdullav this Saturday could lead to Lomachenko’s match covers

Raymond Muratalla hopes to fight against Vasily Lomachenko then if he is victorious in his battle against Zaur Abdullaev for the IBF light belt this Saturday, May 10, in the Pechanga Arena de San Diego. Muratalla (22-0, 17 kos) will be the mandatory champion of IBF 135-LB Lomachenko if he wins Saturday. Thus, if Loma returns from his injury, he could face Muratalla. Muratalla will be raised to the complete IBF champion if he decides not to return.

Muratalla vs. Abdullaev is the co -financing of Saturday card, headed by Wbo Super Feather Pweathing Champion Emanuel “Vaquero” Navarrete (39-2-1, 32 kos) defending against number 1 Charly Suarez (18-0, 10 kos). The event will be displayed Lives in espn I ESPN+ at 22:00 ET/19: 00 PM Pt.

For some reason, this struggle has not gained much traction. Fans do not know SUAREZ and NAVARRETE, which were recently beaten by Denys Berinchyk last year.

Fight Dream: Loma

“It’s a huge struggle. Any of these champions,” said Raymond Matalla a Ring Magazine When asked if he would be interested in fighting Keyshawn Davis, a light WBO champion. “I think it would be a huge struggle and a great struggle for us and the fans.”

Muratalla’s interest in fighting Keyshawn for his Wbo belt was not as high as to fight Lomachenko for IBF belt. This could mean one of two things. In Matalla he has no confidence in his ability to beat Keyshawn, or he considers the fight against Lomachenko more significant than he will pay better and help his career more. He obviously thinks he can overcome the 37 -year -old. Why would more be interested in fighting Lomachenko?

“I am focused on Saturday and, in hope, I can get a victory on Saturday and Lomachenko below,” said Matalla. “This is what I really want. With a victory on Saturday, my mandatory is Lomachenko. I’m going to push it first and if not, I’m ready for any of the champions. I’m ready for any of them. We’ll see it,” Muratalla said.
