Dozens affected in chaos on New Gaza Aid, says

The UN Human Rights said it believed that 47 people were injured on Tuesday when the crowds overcame the assistance center run by a new controversial group, backed by the United States and Israel.

A high official said the UN was still collecting information, but most injuries were linked to firearms, and “it shot with IDF (Israeli Defense Forces).”

Gaza Hamas’s Ministry of Health said one person was killed and 48 were injured.

IDF said it is checking the reports. The press secretary said the troops had released a “warning” in the area outside the Gaza Humanitarian Fund in the southern city of Rafa, but they did not shoot at people.

The GHF assistance system uses US security contractors and bypasses the UN, which rejected it as unethical and disabled.

US and Israeli governments have said it was hindering Hamas’s assistance that the armed group has denied.

The UN agencies have warned that 2.1 million Gaza population is facing a catastrophic hunger after almost three -month Israeli blockade, which was weakened last week.

On Tuesday, thousands of Palestinians desperately went to the rescue sent to the GHF distribution center in Rapha, which is under full Israeli military control.

At the end of the day, videos showing chaotic scenes, like thousands of men, women and children, hit the playground, going through torn fences and land. In one video, some people see the running as it seems shot.

On Wednesday, the UN Human Rights in the Palestinian territories said it had received information that about 47 people were injured during the incident.

“It’s through shots,” said Adjit Sunhai to Geneva. “We are trying to confirm what happened to them in the sense of seriousness (injuries). What we know is what he shot with IDF.”

The press secretary of the Ministry of Health Gaza said that one person Salea Abu Musa died after being shot at the help center. Initially, he was taken to the Red Cross hospital in the raffles before he was transferred to the hospital in Nasser UNIS, where he succumbed to his wounds. Another 48 people were injured, he added.

“We check the information from the UN. At the time when we say, we do not have information on this,” said Press Socialist IDF Colonel Olivier.

He said that Israeli troops “released a warning into the air in the area” GHF Center, he said, adding that “by no means (or fired) towards people.”

On Tuesday, GHF said at one point its team “fell back to allow a small amount of gaskee safe and dissipate”, adding it “according to the GHF protocol to avoid casualties.” It also states that it may confirm that they were not fired at the site.

“What we saw yesterday is a very clear example of the dangers of helping the help of GHF,” Mr. Sunhai said. “Exposing people to death and injuries trying to get food.”

He added that many people were afraid to travel south to try to get help with -safety during a long path, and because they were afraid of detention of Israeli forces when they got there. Many, he said, could not travel: women with young children, the elderly and those who are sick or injured.

Asked if there was at least some food, as a common GHF, it was better than no food, Mr. Sunhai said: “There is a right to eat, but also for the spread of food and humanitarian supplies in a safe and decent order.”

The UN and other established agencies have refused to cooperate with GHF, claiming that its action does not meet the humanitarian principles of neutrality and impartiality.

They said they had tons of material ready to enter gas, and a detailed distribution plan that minimizes robbery.

The Gaza Gaza Media Media said that Israel’s efforts were unable.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a speech on Tuesday that his government “developed a plan with our American friends to control the distribution sites” for help if Hamm would “be very difficult to steal it, especially since we are protecting these positions.”

He admitted that there was a “some loss of control” on the GHF website, but added: “We returned it under control. We’re going to put a lot more.”

“And the idea is to pick up the humanitarian robbery as a tool of Hamas war to give it to the population. After all, to have a sterile zone in the south of gas, where the entire population can follow their own defense.”

Meanwhile, a senior Trump administration official said: “Help is coming to people who need, and through their safe distribution system, Israel is safety, and Hamas with empty hands.”

On March 2, Israel introduced a complete blockade of humanitarian aid and commercial gas supplies and restored the military offensive in two weeks, completing a two -month ceasefire with Hamas. It states that the steps had to be put pressure on the armed group to release 58 hostages who remain in the gas, up to 23 of which are believed to be alive.

On May 19, the Israeli military launched an extended offensive, which, according to Netanyahu, to see that the troops “take control of all districts”. The next day he said that Israel would also ease the blockade and allow the “basic” amount of food in gas.

On October 7, 2023, Israel launched a military campaign in Gaza in response to Hamas’s cross -border attack, which killed about 1,200 people and took 251 people hostage.

At least 54,084 people have been killed in Gaza since 3924 as Israel has restored its offensive, the Ministry of Health of the territory reports.
