Paris Saint-Germain has abandoned Gianluigi Donnarumma of his template for the UEFA Super Cup clash with Tottenham, according to several reports, in a sign that could be about to leave PSG.
Donnarumma is entering the last year of his contract at the Parc des Princees, with talks on a new agreement.
PSG completed the signing of Lucas Chevalier de Lille on Saturday, and Donnarumma’s omission suggests that Luis Enrique sees Chevalier as his new number one.
Donnarumma played a crucial role in the PSG winning an unpleasant troop last season, as they finally ended their wait for the Glory of the Champions League, Thrashing Inter MilĂ by 5-0 in the final. PSG later arrived in the final of the Club World Cup, only to lose 3-0 against Chelsea.
Manchester United and Chelsea have been related to a play for international Italy, with Bayern Munich and Galatasaray, have also credited an interest.
Donnarumma has made 161 PSG appearances since joining AC Milan in 2021, gaining seven major trophies with the club during this time.
