Gaza has a “real starvation”, Donald Trump said after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted that there was no such thing.
Asked if he agreed with Netanyahu, it was a “bold lies” to say that Israel was spitting hunger in the gas, the US president replied: “I don’t know … These children look very hungry … These are real hunger.”
Speaking during a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starr in Scotland, Trump said: “Nobody is made there.
His comments appeared after the head of the UN Humanitarian Chief said that “huge amounts” of food were needed to avoid hunger.
Tom Fletcher told the BBC that he welcomed Israel’s measures over the weekend to allow more assistance in gas in the form of sheep and military stops to allow food escort to get to people.
But he said that what had been delivered so far was just a “falling into the ocean” what was required.
“This is the beginning, but the next few days are really doing or broken. We need to put a lot of help.
Israel said 120 goods of trucks were collected on Sunday during the first daily 10-hour “tactical pause” in hostilities, and that Jordan and the United Arab Emirates decorated 28 food packages.
A few hours after Mr. Fletcher spoke, the Ministry of Health Hamas stated that 14 more were killed in the last 24 hours.
This brought the total number of death -related deaths, after the start of the war in October 2023, 147, including 88 children, the ministry reports.
Israel, who controls the entry of all supplies to the gas, denied that gas was fasting and dismissed allegations for food deficiency.
On Sunday, the Israeli military launched actions that, he said, would improve the “humanitarian response” to Gaza and refute “a false demand for a deliberate hunger.
Israel has announced that there would be a “local tactical pause” in three Gaza States within 10 hours a day, as well as the creation of “designated safe routes” for auxiliary convoys.
The military also allowed the fall of assistance conducted by foreign countries to restore, despite the humanitarian agencies that warn that this method was ineffective and dangerous.
The Israeli Military Corps, which coordinates the entry into gas, said more than 120 benefits were collected from the UN crossing and other international organizations on Sunday, and that hundreds of cargo are waiting for the collections.
Mr. Fletcher said at this time the UN had collected less than 100 cargo, and noted that 600 to 700 loads were entered on average on average during a two-month ceasefire between Israel and Hamas earlier this year.
Asking to respond to Israel’s criticism from the UN agencies for not collecting help from the crossing, he replied: “We are not going to leave on pallets when we can. But to get to this, our drivers face bureaucratic restrictions, they face massive security restrictions.”
He also said that most UN food trucks were plundered after entering Gas on Sunday.
“Most of these trucks … were affected by desperate civilians, starving. The flour was removed from these trucks and very dangerous to our drivers.”
Mr. Fletcher also warned that the UN teams on Earth believe that the pauses of Israeli servicemen will only last a week or so that, he said, “clearly insufficient if we see this atrocity on Earth before our eyes.”
“We need a long delivery period – weeks, months – to increase, stop this starvation and create materials again. Ultimately, we need a ceasefire. Puza is a good step in the right direction, but stopping the conflict is key.”
On Sunday, the World Health Organization warned that the malnutrition “on a dangerous trajectory in the Gaza Strip marked by a thorn in July”.
Of the 74 deaths related to malnutrition, 63 years occurred in Gaza in 2025, including 24 children under five and one child for five, the UN agency said.
“Most of these people were announced dead upon arrival in medical facilities or died shortly after their bodies show obvious signs of serious waste,” it added.
The WHO said the crisis was “completely prevented” and condemned what he called “intentional blocking and delaying large -scale food, health and humanitarian aid.”
Hamas refused to steal assistance, and on Sunday the New York Times referred to high -ranking Israeli military officials that the military had never found evidence that an armed group had systematically stole assistance to the UN. Last week, Reuters also reported that the US Government analysis did not reveal evidence of the US -funded Hamas system.
Netanyahu on Sunday is surprised that Israel was intentionally hungry with civilians in Gaza, which means a war crime.
“What a bold lie. There is no hunger policy in the gas, and there is no hunger.” he said.
“We allow humanitarian assistance throughout the war to enter the gas. Otherwise there would be no gas. And what hindered humanitarian aid is one force, Hamas. Again, the lapel of the truth,” he added.
Netanyahu said that the humanitarian pauses and corridors of the Israeli military meant that the UN did not “justify”, so as not to collect and distribute all the help from the crossing.
“Stop lying. Stop finding excuses. Do what you need to do.”
On Monday, local hospital sources said that Israeli gas attacks have killed more than 30 people, including assistance seekers.
The Israeli military launched a campaign in Gaza in response to the attack under the guidance of Hamas on South Israel on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and took 251 people hostage.
At least 59,821 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Ministry of Health in the field of health in the territory.
