US President Donald Trump has said India has suggested to abandon all tariffs for goods imported from his country.
The Indian government “suggested us a deal if they are mostly ready not to accuse us of tariffs,” Trump said at the Doha event.
Currently, India and the US are negotiating the trade agreement negotiations.
Delhi has not yet commented on the comments. The BBC appealed to the Indian Ministry of Commerce for comments.
Until now, no additional details have been published regarding the intended transaction with India.
Trump talked at an event with business executives in Doha, where he announced a number of transactions between the US and Qatar, including Jets Boeing.
According to Bloomberg, the US president also said that Apple CEO Tim Cook did not expand the production in India.
“I said I didn’t want you to create in India,” Trump Bloomberg quotes about the conversation he said he had a cock. He added that Apple would “increase production in the US”.
