Dolly Parton offered warm words to her friend and fellow passtream Kelly Clarkson Following the death of the ex-husband of Clarkson, Brandon Blackstock.
During an interview with Entertainment tonight Published on Tuesday, August 12, the Country Singing icon gave Clarkson a message, 43, which drew on an insight collected after the Husband of Parton, Carl Deanwho died at the age of 82 earlier this year.
“I think you have to be grateful for the years you’ve had with someone and you’re just trying to remember the best of that,” said 79 -year -old Parton. “Take their energy they have given you … and Kinda recycles that and let that become a part of you.”
Parton, who was married to Dean for more than 60 years, continued, “Just honor their memory and just know that they are in a better place than we are these days.” (No official death case was issued by Parton.)

Parton added that, while not yet to reach out personally to Clarkson, she will “catch up with her” once she has wrapped promotional duties around the release of her book “Star of the Show: My Life on Stage.”
Weekly US confirm On Monday, August 11, that Blackstock died as a result of melanoma, a type of skin cancer. His death was confirmed at the age of 48 by a family representative who said in a statement on Thursday, August 7, that Blackstock had “battled cancer for more than three years.”

One day before the family’s announcement, Clarkson, who was married to Blackstock between 2013 and 2022 and shared River’s daughter, 11, and Remington’s son, 9, with him, supporters of the health of her ex-husband and delayed her Las Vegas residence.
“Unfortunately, I need to postpone the rest of the August studio session dates in Las Vegas,” Clarkson said in an Instagram statement on August 6.

“Words can’t start catching the tremendous loss our family has suffered. Yesterday, we lost brother, father, grandfather, and son,” Shelby wrote initially. “Brandon Blackstock was an unrestricted part of our family – fiery, bright, and full of life – and he will be sadly missed.”
Mcentire responded three days later, “Shelby said very well. Yes, we will miss him so much.”
She also shared more of her thoughts through Instagram on Tuesday. “Last week, my eldest Brandon Blackstock steppage/son went home to be with God. His battle is over and he is in eternal peace in the presence of God,” Mcentire wrote alongside a carousel of pictures that showed the pair enjoying time together. “No one else like him, and I’m grateful for the time we had together. His inheritance and laughter will be held throughout his family. Rest in cowboy peace. Happy paths to you until we meet again.”
Clarkson is again to speak publicly about her and her family’s loss.
