The first season Doctor Odyssey Not even over yet but the show had already suggested several major cast exits – including Joshua Jackson.
During the episode on Thursday, April 17, from the ABC series, the theme of Crew Week means a break for staff in the Odyssey. But while Tristan (Sean Teale) Time off without guests meant more time for Hookups, Max (Jackson) and Avery (Phillipa Soo) both suggesting that their time on the ship would soon be over.
Avery was fresh in realizing that she was never pregnant with Tristan’s baby and/or Max. Instead, she received a fake positive she threw for a link and now she was back on track. That meant that Avery was planning to go to medical school in a month’s time – despite Max suggesting he wants them to explore real romance together.
Then Max, who decided to go home and Visit his twin. By Us Usually loves nothing more than seeing Jackson – twice – Max set up considering life not on the high seas. Max even interviewed a job, but that had just reminded what he loved for being a doctor on the Odyssey.
Max returned with more love for his job, which meant he probably won’t leave any time soon. But Avery still seemed divided because Max was not the only man who told her about his feelings for her. Spencer (Marcus Emanuel Mitchell) also reminisced about their past position before a parasitic medical emergency changed the subject. Then Tristan, who wanted Avery to know that he still wanted to fight for her too.
Fortunately, there are still several episodes before the first season of the medical drama ends. Doctor Odysseywho performed for the first time in September 2024, won fast Us Over with his out -of -box medical cases, star -starred guest stars and a chance for Jackson, 46, To have some fun on screen.

Jackson credited Murphy because the reason he joined the project. “Ryan’s word was a spark. He said, ‘Make sure my show was sparkling,'” he remembered. “And we’ve tried to make this show sparkling as much as possible and just hope that the joy we feel in performing and doing it all together is what comes across it as you watch it.”
The actor also leaned in on the central love triangle – including which could Become a future in the future.
“I feel that Ryan’s attitude towards this is a much more adult method than when I’ve done this on previous shows. It was a balls to do to not only get the triangle consummated but get them consummated together. I have to say (that is) one of the things I’m most proud of (with us) this year,” he shared. “There are still some restrictions and restrictions to do something on network TV because of the standards and practice issues you are dealing with (we were) able to take something that is challenging and very bold and plays inside the box of network TV.”

Jackson loves to explore “What you can and cannot show” when creating “very sexual and challenging” dynamics.
“It was within the boundaries of what we are allowed to do, (a) That is one of the high watermarks of what we were able to achieve from instructional writing to acting,” he said Us. “Everyone came together to do something you hadn’t seen before – especially on network TV. I think we’ve done a pretty good job with that.”
