Speaking on the Shubhankar Mishra Youtube channel, Chris Gayle talked about his experiences with the Punjab Kings at the IPL. Gayle admitted that the treatment left him in a “depression mode”.
“ Oh, my IPL ended prematurely, you know, with Punjab, to be honest with you. Yes, I mean, I want to say, I was discredited in the franchise, Punjab Kings XI. You know, it seemed to me that I was not treated properly for an older boy who did so much for the league, you know, so much, he said, he said,
“And then they give you and treat you as a child, you know, and I’m almost like I feel like the building was on my shoulder. This is the first time in my life I felt like a mode of depression. So people talk about depression, I can have a little feeling of this and it wasn’t for me,” he added.
Chris Gayle revealed that he felt in the tournament did not make sense, especially with the T20 World Cup on the corner vault. Gayle stated that he prioritized his mental health about money and added that the bio-bombolles environment was mentally exhausting.
“So I know we talk about our job that works, but at this stage not at this stage.
“I had an individual discussion and to say that I listen to that I leave because at the same time I had the World Cup and we were in a bubble so that you could not leave, so that your mental space was only, it was really really puzzling and destroying you.”
“I was destroyed inside and after the last game I played against Mumbai, I’m like,” makes sense. I will do -more damage than peace. “
