Doctor Odyssey have taken huge swings throughout the season but the ABC series went too far by possibly killing Joshua Jackson?
During the penultimate chapter, broadcast on Thursday, May 8, Max (Jackson) join the guests on a trip on land he took a turn when there was an earthquake, followed by a deadly tsunami.
Max was separated from Avery (Fillers) and Tristan (Sean Teale), who stayed aboard the ship to help the rest of the guests. After reaching higher ground, Max was doing right and even helping the injured locals. However, the fictional doctor could not save everyone and that led to a scene where an owner was reunited with his dog moments before he died.
The end of the chapter suggest that Max would soon be reunited with the rest of his fellow crew members on the Odyssey. He even trained Avery on a medical procedure when suddenly the church in which he was shaking started. Avery and Tristan heard the noise and their radio connection with Max cut out.
Elsewhere on the boat, Captain Massey (Don Johnson) confirmed that there were back effects as the camera returned to a shipwreck in the church, where Max was on his own moments before there was a seemingly deadly fall.
The anxious revelation came right before the Finishing the possible show series. ABC has not yet renewed the show, which first performed in September 2024, in the midst of those rumors Doctor Odyssey Too costly to charge for more seasons.

He said, ‘Make sure my show was sparkling,'” he remembered. “And we’ve tried to make this show sparkling as much as possible and just hope that the joy we feel in performing and doing it all together is what comes across it as you watch it.”
