Devin Haney claims that Ryan Garcia’s version against Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero in his loss of decision to him was like a “Different” A person from the version he had lost in 2024. Haney agrees that Garcia (24-2, 20 kos) had an advantage over him when he had the Ped Ostarine banned in his system.
Devin seems to be trying to whiten His loss for Ryan, blaming him in Peds instead of admitting that he could not handle his power or block the left hook. If Haney is eliminated in his next fight against the heavy weight champion of Wbo, Brian Norman Jr., on November 22, he will have to accept that he lacks his chin to deal with power punchers.
In Kingry’s first struggle since a one -year suspension, he lost a unanimous 12 -round decision on Rolando “Rolly” Romero on May 2. Haney thinks Garcia was completely different from what he had lost. However, what is overlooked is Rolly’s size and power at night of struggle.
Garcia’s loss of Rolly Romero
Rolly resembled a normal average weight after rehydrating, and was huge inside the ring fighting the slender Garcia. As great as Romero was in this struggle, he would have beat the majority of the division’s weights only in the division. Haney would have had similar problems to treating Rolly’s size and power.
Fighting a guy who is essentially 154 pounds would be a nightmare for any fighter coming from 140. Rolly should fight the middle junior weight with the boys of their own size instead of melting to fight at 147.
Ryan punched the weaker haney (32-0, 15 kos) for 12 rounds, leaving him three times and repeatedly injured him with the left hooks in a victory of the majority decision. The results of the fight were subsequently annulled by the New York Commission and changed to a non-convenience due to Ped de Garcia’s positive test.
“100%, demonstrates. It was two different people,” said Devin Haney in Ring Magazine canal When asked if he believes that Ryan Garcia obtained an advantage of Ped, he was positive against him. “These were two different people in accumulation. These were two different people on the night of struggle. One blind could see -it was not Ryan Garcia himself.
I disagree with Haney. Garcia was different in his loss in front of Rolly because he was facing a bigger fighter with great power. Ryan had to have more size to compete with the youngest medium-sized Romero that night, because he couldn’t go out, which is what he tried to do. He should have used his boxing skills to defeat him, because he would have done so.
“He had no pop, not a quick touch, he had nothing. He seemed to be a totally different person,” Haney said about Ryan’s transformation in his last fight against Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero on May 2. “I give Rolly his credit. He came in -with a good play plan. It wasn’t just him (Garcia) not to be in Peds. I think Rolly fought a good fight on him.”
