Amy, who won actress Valery Mahafi, died at the age of 71, confirmed her family.
Mahafi’s publicist confirmed the Hollywood reporter that the star died in California on Friday after cancer diagnosis.
The star was known for its work on the television series, including desperate housewives, young Sheldon and great Sky.
In a statement presented by Variety, Mahafi Joseph Kel said “lost my life and America lost one of the most lovely actresses.”
“She will miss,” he said.
On Facebook, the couple’s daughter, Alice, wrote: “I really don’t have words to say now. Cancer sucks. I’m looking for you in all the fun moments of life. I know you will be there.”
In 1992, Mahafi won the primary Amy for a wonderful actress in the dramatic series for her reflection of Eve in the American dark comedy of the Northern Exhibition.
Her success in the gap came after the Amy Day in the previous decade for the role of doctors, a soap opera that aired since 1979-1981.
It also appeared in several films, including Sally and maritime bizes.
Later roles included performance as Madame Reinard in FreNch French 2020, for which she was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award.
Born in Canadian mother and American father in Sumatra, Indonesia, Mahafi moved to a teenager to Texas.
Her first film came in 1977, with the role in the movie “Tell me my name.
Mahafay appeared in the episodes of dozens of television series for his five decade of career, including the ER medical drama, the High Castle Distopal TV series and the Gll Music TV series.
In desperate housewives, her memorable role, Alma Hodge, manipulative ex -wife of Orsan Hoj, saw that she appeared on the Wisteria Lane dramaturgy for eight episodes.
