Danny Willeu, nominated for the “Oscar” French-Canadian director, will manage the next film about James Bond, announced Amazon MGM Studios.
In a statement released by the studio, Villene says he is a “tough fan of James Bond” and intends to “honor the tradition” of franchise.
Speculations spun in the future movies 007 after longtime gave up its roles In February.
Villeneuve will also perform the duties of the new film executive and received Global Spolam for the recent reception of Dune franchise as well as hits such as Blade Runner 2049 and arrival.

Amazon MGM Studios leader Mike Hopkins recognized Vilnius a “cinematic master” and praised his ability to deliver a “exciting story” for a global audience.
“James Bond is in the hands of one of today’s directors, and we can’t wait to get started in the next adventure 007,” he said.
Pascal and Hayman added that it was always a dream of Vilnius to make a movie about Bond, and “we were lucky to be in the hands of this unusual director.”
It is still unclear when the next Bond movie will be released as the next actor who loses the Title Spy.
British actors Aaron Taylor-Johnson and James Norton were rumored, and the Irish actor Paul Mescal was also thrown into the mix.
