After arrest for driving while intoxicated in February, a judge in Kranstan, Rod -AylandHe ordered a democratic legislator to set a distance in his car to continue driving.
Enrique reporter Sanchez, a progressive Democrat who acts in the House of Representatives, was dragged into the morning on February 3 after allegedly parking at the intersection.
Bodycam footage at the road stop, which led to his arrest, shows that Sanchez suggested a police officer with a red debit card instead of the driver’s license before telling her that he should not drink.

On the frames of Sanchez repeatedly stuffed his hands in his pockets, despite repeated orders of one police officer to remove his hands from his pockets.
“How much do you drink?” One of the other officers at the scene asked Sanchez. “You grow booze, just be honest. You smell like alcohol.”
When the officer asked Sanchez if he would pass the sobriety test on the field, he asked if he could order Uber if you refuse. The officer told him he would not be able to order Uber, and he refused to take a sobriety test.
In his original speech on the day of his arrest, Sanchez did not find himself guilty of driving while intoxicated and has not since pleaded guilty of smaller civil charges in refusing the chemical trial and refusing to obey movement management devices.

The court records show that on February 19, Sanchez’s license was suspended by the Magistrate of Krena William Nunan. However, he was granted a license for adversity, which allows him to go to and from his daily work, and the state house performs its legislative duties between 8am to 8 pm, provided that he installed in his vehicle of enrichment.
In a short pre -trial conference on February 24, the case was postponed from the district court to the Supreme Court.
Sanchez’s arrest caught calls for resignation. On February 10, he appealed to his arrest in the X -Nitty after a week of silence.

He did not apologize and instead said: “I will not allow my personal actions to be distracted by questions that are really important – families, businesses and problems of my community.”
“Sometimes we are too close to something to fully see our place in it,” he said. “This experience has given me a new clarity against my duties – not only in this ward, but also in the trust that my community has placed in me. I perceive this trust seriously and will continue to work every day in my life.”
Sanchez’s lawyer is a former speaker of the house -Ayland John Croat.
In 2023, Sanchez submitted the Ri H5461, a bill to be given Illegal immigrants The right to vote in the state.
