Deion Sanders responds to Shedeur and Shilo sons join NFL

Shedeur, 23 was Drafted by the Cleveland Browns On Saturday, April 26, in the fifth draft round 2025 NFL. Hours later, Shilo, 25 – not raised by a team in the draft – signed a contract with Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an untreated free agent.

“Both of Y’all, you are durable,” Deion told his two sons during Twitch’s live stream on Saturday, by USA today. “He (the draft) proved the whole family. I’m grateful. Tampa is a wonderful place.”

Before Shedeur was drafted, the family weighed the surprise that was not selected in the first round as previously anticipated.

“My Bible says that God uses the foolish things to confuse the wise and chose the weak things of the world that he could give them to shame the strong!” Deion wrote through X on Friday, April 25. “Know that God has done it and God really begins. Enjoy this lesson and stop stressing.

Shedeur acknowledged, for him, that the family “did not expect this” in mail by his family’s home In Texas, where they watched the draft rather than personally attended at Green Bay, Wisconsin.

“But I feel like with God, anything is possible – everything is possible.
