Nintendoflagship Switch 2The successor of one of the most popular consoles, went on sale on Thursday with excitement and excitement from fans leading to special hours in the store and deficit in some markets.
The Japanese giant hopes that the console will help to endure the monster stock in its actions, which grew almost five times, as the initial switching came out in March 2017.

And the current demand looks strong, according to analysts.

The popularity of the switch is widely credited with its innovative portable design, which combined the console with mobile games. People could play the game on TV and then attach the controllers to the console display and take it with you.
Lack and late holes in the store
In April, Nintendo Shuntaro Furukawa said 2.2 million in Japan entered the lottery to purchase Switch 2 on launch day.
Furukova said it was “outside” Nintendo and more than the company will be able to deliver to stores on Thursday.
Japan’s deficit is expected.
“Demand in Japan on Switch 2 is actually high, perhaps higher than anywhere else,” said CNBC Serkan Toto, CEO of CNBC Serkan Toto.
“You can’t go to the store anywhere in Japan to pick up 2 Switch without prior order, and it won’t change over the next weeks and months.”
In China, a large online scratch JD.com said she had received 400,000 console reservations that started delivery on Thursday. Not everyone who leaves the console eventually acquire it.
In the US, Best Buy opened some shops across the country at midnight on Thursday (or at the end of Wednesday, depending on the temporary zone) for shopping shopping. Walmart said it opens orders to Midnight ET on the Internet as well as the store at Supercents at 6 am. Currently, Walmart site shows the console as sold.
The UK seems to be more accessibility. The Amazon page in the UK shows the switch 2 available for delivery on Friday. Other retailers such as Currys and Toy Store Smyth’s also seem to have it in stock.
“Given the demand for the base, the sale of the launch day was inevitable. However, we believe that Nintendo is well prepared and expects the offer to stabilize within weeks,” said Jiigashvili Omdia.
Last month, Nintendo said he expects to sell 15 million units From the Switch 2 console in the financial year ending March 2026. However, analysts said it was conservative.
Toto Kantan Games said in the first year it predicts sales of 20 million units. OMDIA said she was expecting a 14.4 million consoles only in 2025, which would outpace the debut year of the original switch.
