A German startup Deepl said on Wednesday that it was beyond translation that works on artificial intelligence, on common II agents focused on enterprises.
The term “agent” refers to the AI tool that can perform tasks in the background in response to the user’s clues.
The Deepl agent is designed to perform “repetitive, time -consuming tasks for a variety of functions,” the company reports. It can respond to Natural Langauge Commands from users. The Deepl agent can be used in different teams: from human resources to marketing, the company added.
Agents either Agentic AI have become fashionable words in the technology industry, emphasizing how companies see these digital assistants automate more down -to -earth tasks. Companies such as Microsoft with pilot and anthropic clood are products focused on the customer’s customer.
This step is a step beyond what DeepL, which is estimated at $ 2 billion, focused on the fact that it was founded in 2017. This will potentially lead to a company against large AI players such as Anthropic, Openai and Microsoft, which are focused on business customers.
Deepl Jarek Kutylowski, CEO of Deepl Jareki said on Wednesday CNBC that the company’s agent was a natural translation product.
“We found out that technology is just as capable of helping you when you do research or anything,” Kutilovsky said.
“All these tedious tasks in your office, if you have to switch between different systems and take some data from one system, put it into another, both autonomous agents, and in particular, Deepl can help solve much better.”
The Deepl translation product is based on self -given large language models. Kutilovsky said Deepl Agent is based on his own models, as well as on accessible “externally” from other providers.
Although there are a large number of companies that advertise AI agents, the market is still at a very early stage. The overall interest of investors in AI companies, meanwhile, is still high. On Tuesday, Amazon Anthropic announced the financing that put the firm when estimated after money for $ 183 billion.
It seems that technology lists are collected by Steam, both Fintech firm Klarna and Crypto Exchange Gemini this week present details of their first public offers.
Against this background, CNBC asked Kutilovsky if he was considering Deepl IPO, to which he replied: “This is not the short term that we will consider now.”
