French officials investigating the death of a British couple in their home in southwestern France said it was a murder and suicide.
The bodies of Andrew and Dawn Sirl, who used to live in Eastern Lotian in Scotland, were found on February 6 In their house in Les Peaquies, about an hour north of Toulouse.
The body of Mrs. Sirle was found in the garden with heavy wounds in the head, while the husband’s body was found inside.
The prosecutor, who is engaged in the case, said the BBC, there is no evidence that the other person participated in their death.
Mrs. Sirl, 56, grew up in Eymute in Scottish, and Mr. Sirl was originally from England.
Previously, they lived in Musselburg and married France in 2023.
Prosecutors said they had lived in Avenron region for five years.
According to its LinkedIn page, 62 -year -old Mr. Sirl worked in the field of financial crime prevention, including standard life and Barclays Bank.

The 30 -year -old Mr. Ker went to his mother on the aisle when she married Mr. Sirle at a ceremony in France in 2023.
