The Delhi Cricket Association and District (DDCA) on Friday (May 9) received a threat email about the Arun Jaitley stadium in Delhi. This is in the midst of cross -border tensions between India and Pakistan, which increase day by day.
Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium is one of the main places in the Indian cricket and also He hosted the Premier League India (IPL) 2025 parties, as it was the Delhi Capitals home. The match between DC and Gujarat Titans (GT) took place on May 11, but the league was suspended for a week.
Delhi’s mail and district’s cricket association mentioned that they have loyal sleeping cells from Pakistan across the country and will activate and explode the stadium. The mail read:

“We have Pak’s loyal sleeping cells throughout India. We will activate them for Op Sindoor. We exploded your stadium.”
The development was confirmed by the Delhi officer and District Clicket Association (DDCA), who said they sent the mail to Delhi police. He mentioned that police had turned the action and inspected the site. Talking to Toi, he said:
“Yes, we received a threat email this morning and we have already sent it to the Delhi Police. They already went into action and inspected the enclosure for a while ago,” said the official.
Arriving at the IPL 2025, the Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) suspended the league for a week in the midst of tensions at borders. This occurs after the game between Punjab Kings and Delhi capitals of the stadium of the Cricket Association of Himachal Pradesh in Dharamsala was called.

News on the new calendar and the tournament sites will be announced at the time after a complete evaluation of the situation in consultation with the relevant authorities and the interested parties.”
