Davis vs. Rematch Roach fixed for August 16 at Las Vegas: Can “Tank” Controverted Revenge

The Light WBA champion, Gervonta ‘Tank’, Davis will defend against Lamont Roach in a resale on August 16 in Las Vegas. It is a struggle intended to erase the controversy of its previous struggle on March 1, which ended in a majority tie of 12 rounds for the scores 114-114, 115-113 for the tank and 114-114.

In this fight, Roach (25-1-2, 10 kos) nailed a tank (30-0-1, 28 kos) with a dagger, making a knee. Instead of the referee Steve Willis, he ruled her once, let Tank get up and head to her corner to clean her eyes clean by her coach.

Roach: The king without a crown?

The tank did not ask for any waiting time. He has just walked to his corner, like his head, and his coach attended. Later Davis said he had to have Grease Hair erased from his eyes. There were many boxing fans that they were waiting for them to do so due to the ninth -round controversy. They felt that the ninth incident of the round was not a determining factor in the results in the fight.

Roach will be glad to have a second chance to fight the tank because the money will be good. Thus, even if he loses, he will still get the second great day against the king of light division.

Mentally prepared, Tank?

Davis has to fight much better than he showed the last time to win, because he got Roach to last. The tank didn’t seem to have his mind in the fight. He seemed distracted and did not mentally.
