Dave coul Recalls the hardest days of his struggle with non -Hodgkin phase 3 lymphoma.
Coulier, 65, was diagnosed in October 2024, and late last month, revealed that he was cancer -free.
The A full house Star detailed his health intimidation in the episode Wednesday, April 16, from “So rude, tanneros!” Describing the period between the diagnosis of his cancer and relief, he said that “this journey of, ok, let’s do it through chemotherapy rounds, ‘and you know, they say they have to kill you to save your life, and there are times where I felt like I didn’t know how much more of these I could do.
After his third round of Chemo, “he started to strike me where I couldn’t get out of bed. I had a breath of breath. I was really weak. I was like, ‘Wow, this really makes me a number.”
Coulier said that his wife, Melissa Coulier. And, ‘This is a cold compression and this is your food and this is your drug.’ And I mean, she micro-controlled this in such a way that I will forever be grateful to her, the way she made a plow so bravely through this. “
He added, “I learned how amazing my wife is. And I also learned how much a positive attitude can help you plow through things.”
At one time, Coulier suffered a rhinovirus infection and his “immune system could not keep up with it.” As he recovered from the temporary illness, doctors told him if he had postponed treatment, “We could have lost you. Like, you would have been in a real battle – because even an ordinary cold virus can kill you when your immune system is (weakened).”
At about that time, a scan revealed that a lymph node in Coulier’s neck was “flavoring.” A new biopsy was needed. As a result, he remembered, “Mel and I had the conversation, and I said, ‘Look, this might go to the south here, so that this doesn’t look great and I don’t know what
They’re going to find in my neck here. “
During the treatment, Coulier – who found Fentanyl – kept the mood lightly.
“I’m sitting there on the operating table, and I’m looking at the small screen and the guy moves the ultrasound thing around.… (Says the nurse), ‘Are you ready for your little journey?’ And I said, ‘Yes,’ and she’s going, ‘here I am coming.’ And I was like, ‘Whoa.
After that, a Coulier medical team asked if he remembered making them laugh. He did not. “I was aware all the time, but I must have gone away somewhere. And so they said, ‘Oh, you were making jokes and some things outside of color really.”
On March 31, Coulier confirmed he had beaten the disease.
“Melissa and I stayed for a week to get the biopsy results back, and there is no sign of cancer,” he said Pared at the time. “One of the few times in my life when ‘zero’ has been a large number to hear.”
