Before a child’s star Danielle Spencer Died at the age of 60 following a battle with breast cancer.

We all have them and we all have this family – Dr. Danielle Spencer (June 24, 1965 – August 11, 2025),” read Nelson’s headline. “Dr. Dee, our wonderful, loving, positive, pragmatic, undoubtedly found, has finally been released from the clutches of this world and a body.”
The post continued, “We celebrate Danielle Spencer and her contributions as we regret to steer her departure and bridge from a long cancer battle.

Nelson, 65, finished his tribute by referring to Spencer as “Shero” and told fans that she was being “loved” before her death.
“She will be missed in this form and will be embraced forever,” he added.

He re -reported the role for What’s happening now !!broadcast between 1985 and 1988. Spencer was Been diagnosed with breast cancer In 2014.
“With everything I’ve been through with a spinal cord injury, I said I knew that God is not going to give me another affliction,” said Spencer at the time. “So I was completely surprised when the doctors told me.”
Spencer was referring to her spinal stenosis diagnosis in 2004, which came years after a car accident in 1977 that killed her stepfather. (She was briefly paralyzed following surgery following her injuries.)
During the same interview, Spencer shared that she had “a lot of help and support” following the diagnosis.
“I’m trying to get as many judgments as possible, but it looks like that’s what I’m going to do,” shared the actress. “Hopefully after that no chemotherapy or radiation will be connected.”
Before her death came Spencer’s last acting role in a chapter in 2001 from The days of our lives where she was Fender Salem Place.
She was married to Garry fieldsMarketing Manager, in 1999. The former was together until 2013. The following year, Spencer married an entrepreneur David L. David.
