By Frank Bay: Eimantas Stanionis is not afraid and does not buy the work of Job Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis. And why should it be? If you were Eimantas Sandavol de Jalisco, Mexico, instead of Stanionis of Lithuania, this struggle could rival with the legendary night of Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Meldrick Taylor in terms of bombs and commercial publications. But Stanionis is little known and inactive in East Europe inactivated without remarkable victories in its resume, which received an email belt.
Ennis was also equipped with the belt and is currently found as a manufacture of Hype/PBC Hype work manufactured without remarkable names in his resume in 30 more fights. Ennis’s statement to fame is to be the Challenger number 1 of Errol Spence at a time and Terence Crawford, which caused the discomfort, when Crawford allowed himself to be stripped of his title instead of facing it.
It can be argued if Crawford was hooked or not. The truth is that none of the Ennis drum is based on the ring. His most prominent victory is maybe Roiman Villa. Villa is known to beat the old Hype Rashididi Ellis work contestant. All Ennis hype is based on the narrative that other fighters have been hooked on. None of which is in fact based and is purely the speculation of its minimum basis of fan. One thing Ennis has gone for him is that he is a Philly fighter. Being a Philly fighter has a certain attraction among boxing fans. Factual or imaginary, it is a story sold.
While this should be a major boxing event, unfortunately, it is not. Stanionis is a Europe of the unknown virtual East and Jaron Ennis has the personality and charisma of a mop. No light on Ennis; All he wants to do is focus on boxing. This is good, but being able to sell, especially in boxing, is a necessary ingredient. No more than Ryan Garcia if you want to know why it matters.
I can hear the refutations now, but what happens to Crawford? In some ways, Bud is less likely than Ennis, and he is a relatively talking boxing star. My answer to this is, is it really? Crawford has the personality and charisma of a bread cake. And that is why it took him 15 years to even become a bit of a boxing name.
Before you beat Spence, Crawford could also have been playing football. Or what about Canelo Alvarez? It is not exactly Mr. Charisma, and barely English speaks. And that is why I say, Alvarez has an entire country behind the same way that Pacquiao and Hatton had. The reality is that America struggles to find and build their next golden boy or “money” Mayweather because they no longer admit boxing as they did in the past.
Boxing is behind the darts on television. Therefore, boxers must realize and go further in terms of self-marketing. Contract a coach or audition to dance with the stars as the past fighters have done. Or better yet, make Jake Paul’s friend as David Benavidez has been smart enough to do it. But we need to start trends.
In terms of talent, based on the eye test, Ennis and Stanionis are the first place in their class. This cannot be said much because Leonard’s Glamor division, Hoya, Mayweather and Trinidad, now heavy, has Mario Barrios as his biggest name. Barrios is only known for being demolished by a Light Davis tank, and then he moved to a belt by e -mail 147. As it is currently, 147 is an arid landscape. To reign, we are receiving this unification of email champions.
Ennis was a massive control of Turki Ali to face Vergil Ortiz because he stated when he signed with Eddie Hearn that his goal was to become the 147 undisputed champion. It could be an smart work of Ennis or a massive error that defines the race.
If Ennis surpasses Stanionis, it becomes the 147 linear champion. This is a historical realization. I am not sure of the credit he will get from critics and fans because Stanionis is largely not shown. Ennis believes that the shake in Stanionis will automatically turn it into a P4P fighter.
I find that this is a bit delusional on the part of Ennis. It seems to believe that fans do not really know boxing and they overlook that both are email champions. Then, again, Devin Haney is still in the P4P ranking of critics, so he may not be so great.
Now, for the older ones, but if Ennis makes a loss, this may be the worst decision that a boxer has made from the whole Demetrius Andrade mishap career. I doubt very much that Ennis could bounce off a loss in Stanionis. A loss would only cease the blows that people had on him.
Would confirm that it was a bombo job. Crawford would be left out of the hook and could point and say “this said I said I took.” Social media attack will be topparted. It was able to end as Naseem Hamed after he was exposed. Never again see. Although this is drastic, this is what happens when a fighter and his fans buy the drum and label -the Bogeyman.
Claiming that he is the most prevented fighter of boxing. This is how Ennis has created his name. Therefore, a loss would be a blow. Ennis does not seem to be willing to return to the drawing box and rebuild the struggle for peanuts. In addition, it would still be too good for the other names to give -an opportunity if they do not have to do it.
This is the problem of making the failed attempt with a Norman JR struggle so publicly vocal. Now, a loss on the part of the man and the other can point and say to see, it was never all this. Mayweather was able to use this tactic throughout his career.
Whenever a fighter was mentioned as a threat to him, he lost. He would point out and say, “Oh, this is what you said I could overcome me, he only lost therefore,” allowing him to avoid these fighters throughout his career
No, Ennis has to win and win impressively for his profile and silence critics. All less than a spectacular victory will be for nothing. Doubts will have their cake. Stanionis is very good, but this struggle is not supposed to win. He is the only superior fighter who jumped the opportunity to face the Bogeyman self-proclaimed.
Stanionis, in an interview, stated that he took the fight against the advice of his managers. His team did not feel that he was reaching a fair agreement. He was told that money was not suitable for a major struggle like this. Stanionis told his team to make it a reality.
Will be all the odds stacked against him during the fighting night. It will be the road team fighting the grass of Ennis. He will not have his wife by his side and will miss the birth of his first child. Stanionis is the subdog.
It’s style, it’s a classic game. Ennis transfers between boxer and boxer-puncher. It has power in both hands, and the chin is decent, but it is not great. We see the talent, but we have not seen it try. What I don’t like about Ennis is the excuses he has in abundance for his more prominent struggles. His excuse to look at the average against Karen was a very doubtful statement that was not properly motivated.
For the life of me, someone should have warned that saying something like this was asinina. Get millions of dollars, fighting in front of your hometown for a title and your answer is the lack of motivation. The correct answer would have been that I have a lot of work to do. But the true answer should be a bit overrated. There cannot be this excuse against Stanionis. Stanionis will be there to bring it. He is your classic plodding boxer.
Stanionis tries to break his opponents, literally. He does not look into the box or around the ring that hooks his tongue and looks pretty. It’s not a kind. It has decent power to good power. His chin seems to be above the average, but the truth is called, we cannot say with certainty because his opposition has been very mediocre. Stanionis is there to be run over, but it is because he does not care. He wants to pressure his opponent every minute of each round. He works his head and body, promoting Ennis torso all night.
Ennis will have the advantages of size, speed and athletics. Power must be canceled because they can both hurt. This should turn it into a tight subject soon. Ennis’s simple path to victory is to be the biker. He will constantly move Stanionis, making him take his feet as he tries to load -on the body of the body.
Ennis will have to be careful that he is the engine and not the runner. This will adversely affect judges and viewers. Ennis knows that he has to sit and fight for at least spurts to win the people.
It should not be the case if things are fair, but they are not and Stanionis will need a tie to achieve victory. I’m not saying he can’t win a decision, but if he is near, he should not expect them to give him the fight. If it is a very close struggle, Ennis will have the decision of the hometown.
Honestly, it should be a bigger struggle than it is today, but this is the fault of boxing. The two men do not speak much and have had long sections of inactivity. What we can expect is a good fight. This struggle will answer many questions for fans and critics. Ennis is as good as advertising?
If Stanionis had to get the hassle, could you become a star? If Ennis is upset, we question the validity of the bright records and continue to believe in the fairy tales of the Bogeymen in boxing? Eastern Europeans will get a fair shake in the states?
If Ennis gets a spectacular victory, does this make it a superstar and get the big names next to it? The only answer I can do now is that I have the feeling that we will see something unexpected. This has the aspects of a classic. I am rooting for the child, because I usually take root for the minors and I don’t believe in the bogeymen. However, I must say that north -American boxing needs this victory in the worst way.
