According to a post-COURIER report, Cricket Papua New Guinea confirmed that Kiplin Doriga was involved in a theft incident in Jersey. The Council emphasized that the matter is personal and will not affect the participation of the team in the ongoing tournament.

“Cricket Papua Nova Guinea has confirmed that Barramundis player Kiplin Doriga participated in a robbery incident in Jersey, United Kingdom, on Monday, August 25, 2025,” the report read.

“Cricket PNG stated that this is an individual matter and that it will not affect the continuous participation of the team in the tournament. The Barramundis are committed to complete their tour of Jersey and represent the country according to the values โ€‹โ€‹of the organization.”
