Cricket Ireland on Tuesday, March 11, announced the calendar full of exciting summer action, as several international teams must visit Ireland for the multi-format series. Over the next six months, Ireland’s men’s and women’s teams will face England, West Indies, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe at home accessories.
Ireland summer will begin with the western Indies that travel the country for a fast -paced series Hate and T20i to May and June. Later in July and in August, Zimbabwe and Pakistan women’s teams will visit Ireland for the white ball series.
In addition to the excitement, the England Cricket team will play its first T20I series in Ireland in September. In the meantime, the Ireland women’s team will fight two ICC World Cup tournaments to get their place on the global stage.
Following the Cricet ICC World Cup in Pakistan, Ireland Wolves’ workforce will travel to the United Arab Emirates for a multi-format tour against Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A. This tour will provide valuable experience for emerging talent.

On the domestic front, next season you will see several important updates. The Men’s T20 Inter -T20 competition will be expanded and will be played as a series of three -day competitions in June and July. The EVOKE Super series will also see the introduction of two -day T20 festivals to improve the women’s game.
In addition, the two -day red ball cricket will be introduced to the Future Men series, while the long -awaited Premier League T20 will be launched in July. Above all, a new club of followers will be presented before ticketing and hospitality packages are put up for sale to further involve fans.
Warren Deutrom, CEO of Cricket Ireland, said in an official media statement: “As we say, it is summer; it must be Cricket. And the Irish Summer fans will enjoy some of the best cracks in the world playing these coasts. Deutrom also added: “A planned series that will not advance for financial reasons is against Afghanistan. This decision is part of our short -term budgetary restrictions management, as well as our requirement to fulfill the Council’s mandate to offer a balanced investment between the organization’s strategic objectives.”
