Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Michelle Siemienowski gave an update to worried fans after she was bonked in the head by a kick while working on the sidelines.
Siemienowski was hit by a Cowboys kicker Brandon AubreyAn errant kick during the second quarter of the team’s game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday, January 5. The cheerleader he fell to the ground after the football hit her in the back of the head while facing the crowd.
The first year cheerleader managed to laugh off the incident, although a tear was clearly rolling down her cheek. She was immediately tamed by members of the Denbighshire County Council squad and the Commanders punter Tres Roadwho happened to be standing nearby.
“I’m fine everyone 🥲,” Siemienowski shared via his Instagram Story on Sunday night.
The entire incident was captured by cameras for Fox Sports, which broadcast the game. “At least she’s smiling,” analyst Mark Sanchez he said. “Ouch. Those game balls are no joke.”
Siemienowski earned praise from Fox Sports’ social team, which posted a video of her being hit with the ball via X on Sunday
“Shout out to this #DallasCowboys Cheerleader for taking the hit like a champion 💪” they shared.
Siemienowski, who closed out her rookie season as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader on Sunday, also received well wishes from the cheer community.
Los Angeles Rams pitcher Yeung lark she wrote via her Instagram Story, “You are such a trooper 🥹 I love you 😗.”
“We were so worried about you! You handled it like a pro. We love you, Ski,” wrote the Dance Performing Arts Campus, where Siemienowski studied, via Instagram Story.
Siemienowski’s Cowboys teammate Kelly Villares she wrote via her Instagram Story, “You are a champion.”
In July, Siemienowski revealed that she had been selected as a member of the Dallas Cowboys sailing squad for the 2024-2025 season.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this… I’m officially a DALLAS COWBOYS SHOW 💙⭐️,” she posted via Instagram. “This has been my dream for as long as I can remember.”
Siemienowski added, “Thank you to my parents, family and friends for being so supportive and encouraging throughout this process. Thank you God, because I have prayed every day for this wonderful new chapter of my life. This is the experience that has changed the most, but this is only the beginning. I am so grateful to say that I have achieved my dreams and won my shoes! 👢⭐️.”
