Several Columbia University Students chased themselves to the gate to protest against Mahmoud Khalila’s detention with the help of immigration and execution of customs authorities (ICE).
Students started protesting on the street Columbia University St. Paul’s chapel on Wednesday afternoon, demanding that the institution release the names of the trustees “who were named Mahmoud Khalila.” The Colombian Solidarity Committee wrote on X that “we will not leave until our demand is fulfilled.”

“Free Mahmoud Khalil. Name a trusted person. Jewish students will not go away. They will stay up to the campus gate until the university @Columbia is held accountable. Who reported Mahmud on the ice?” The group wrote on X.

The Colombian University press secretary told Fox News Digital that people chained to the gate in the campus were removed by public safety staff in two hours.
“We monitor the violations near the gate of the chapel of St. Paul, with the participation of approximately four people chained to the gate, which is a violation of the university behavior. Persons were in demand for identification but refused to leave the territory. Networks were removed by public safety, and persons were accompanied by a campus.

“We will follow the process established in the university’s rules to comply with violations. Our attention is paid to the preservation of our main mission to teach, create and promote knowledge, providing a safe campus for our community,” the press secretary said.

About 80 participants of the rally were near the gate of St. Paul’s chapel on the campus of the Colombian University, a press secretary of the New York Police Department reported Fox News.
The participants of the rally also threw a poster from the nearest overpass, which states: “Free Mahmoud Khalil. Name the proxies.”
Khalil, one of the leaders of the Colombian University Anti-Israel In the early March, the ice agents in New York were detained in the camp in the spring of 2024. The Department of Internal Security claimed that Khalil “cited the activity that was in line with the terrorist organization.”
